Hi, I’m Catherine.

I work with parents who want to feel more connected and confident in how they show up with their families.

My approach is grounded in my training and clinical work in marriage and family therapy. I draw from family systems theory and respectful parenting philosophies, and I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which provides practical tools for managing emotional reactivity in the context of parenting and family life.

As the mom of two young daughters, I have firsthand experience with the beauty and complexity of modern parenthood.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Duke University and am currently completing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fairfield University, combining advanced coursework with clinical practice as a marriage and family therapist. I also earned an MBA from the University of Virginia and worked in the corporate world for several years, managing the competing demands of a growing career and new motherhood.

While I’m actively working toward licensure as a psychotherapist, parent coaching is not psychotherapy. These services are educational and consultative in nature and do not include diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.
